Pacific Poker Review, Bonuses & Downloads
|
Pacific Poker is a relative newcomer to the world of online poker, but since it's run by Casino On Net (the largest online casino in the world), they have
done a good job of getting a solid player base together quickly, with a great spread of table limits, games, and active tables always on the go 24/7.
The software works fantastic, with a well organized, clean lobby that separates regular tables from tournament games easily, and lets you find your preferred
table options easily by sorting by everything from number of players and blinds to average hands per hour.
The games look great, while the table graphics themselves are a little bland - the menu elements are terrific, and the
winning hand displays are especially useful for new players who are sometimes confused by the fast action of online
play, since the cards are 'pulled up' and highlighted for all players to see (provided the cards were called of course).

Custom, made by Cassava Enterprises, the same provider of software to Casino On Net. It's a nice looking poker room,
with a great menu system and wide variety of games squeezed into a reasonable download size.

Pacific Poker is a download poker room first and foremost, but it does offer a new online mode that you can use.
I prefer the download myself, but the no-download version offers the exact same games, players, and even look (more or less)
thanks to a Java port of the software. Whether you plan on downloading Pacific Poker or playing through your browser,
you'll get started by visiting their site.
You'll find a good variety of sit and go tournaments, multi-table and constant WSOP entries at Pacific Poker.
What you'll also find that I haven't seen elsewhere is a variety of 1 on 1 tournaments you can hop into to practice
your heads up game. That's a lot of fun, but unfortunately only offered in limit games at the moment.
