Ulliot to Launch New Card Room

Known more frequently by his nickname “The Devilfish”, infamous British poker player Dave Ulliot has announced the opening of his own online poker room aptly named “Devilfish Poker”, to be licenced by Canadian company Excapsa (seen on the London Stock Exchange, currently best known for Ultimate Bet).

Chief executive of Excapsa said “Excapsa is developing its business internationally with a premier UK poker professional. The fact that ‘the Devilfish,’ perhaps the best-known poker player outside North America, has selected our poker network is a testament to the quality of our online poker software.”

Ulliot is a well known name in the tournament poker scene, with his distinctive look, style of play and catchy albeit confusing nickname. He has won over a million in prize money since breaking out in the scene in 2003 and is a frequent face on the televised tables.

Devilfish Poker features the same game offerings as Ultimate Bet, including Texas Hold’em, Omaha, 7 Card Stud, Crazy Pineapple and Triple Draw.
