Party Poker Adds Side Bets and Blackjack
Today as of approximately 5PM EST, Party Poker has updated their gaming software with some notable additions…
Side bets are now available on real money hold’em (including Omaha) tables, including some tournaments and most regular ring games.
Players can currently make wagers on whether the flop will come up all red or all black, with odds paying 8-1.
Presumably, additional side bets will also soon be available.
Blackjack has also been added to their game offerings, with bets from $1 up to $100 per wager.
Whether this is a move towards offering more casino-style games directly through the poker client, or an attempt to promote their other properties (PartyBingo and Starluck Casino) is not currently known.
